DETAIL ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrive
Ho Chi Minh City
On arrive at Tan Son
Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon),
our guide will welcome and transfer you to your
hotel in the city center. You will be free to
recover somewhat from jet leg.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh
City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh
City –
Cu Chi tunnels (B)
In the morning, we will
go to Hoc Mon district to visit the incredible
underground Cu Chi tunnel network constructed by
Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for
independence. Back to the city after 4 hours
excursion.
In the afternoon, tour
of Saigon to famous landmarks such as: the Post
Office and Notre Dame Cathedral - two of the city's
architectural landmarks then onto China Town, Binh
Tay market and Thien Hau pagoda.
Back to downtown and a short walk via Opera House,
City Hall.... Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City –
Mekong Delta –
Hoian (B/L)
Heading out of the
bustling city, we drive along rice fields to My Tho,
one of Mekong Delta provinces. Upon arrival in My
Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the small
canals in the delta region, which passes My Tho
fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of
local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world
along the canals and along the Tien river. The
exciting cruise continues on to Unicorn island, here
you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the
local traditional music, performed by the islanders.
Have lunch at a typical country garden house. Next
stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some other
local industries in Ben Tre province. Drive back Ho
Chi Minh for late flight to Danang (Flight
VN326 @17.50-19.00). Upon arrival, pick up
and transfer to Hoian town 35km away. Overnight in
Hoian.
Day 4: HoiAn – Myson (B)
After breakfast, we drive to Myson, a World
Heritage, 40 km southwest of Hoian. Located in a
lush valley, Myson was a capital and religious
center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick
towers and sanctuaries. Myson, considered being in
the same age as some of Southeast Asia's greatest
archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia,
Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and
Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries
were built from the 7 to 13 centuries.
Back to Hoian, then spend the other half day for
city tour around Hoian town. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 5: Hoian – Hue
After breakfast, we
drive 4 hours northwards to Hue, the ancient capital
of Vietnam. On the way, visit Marble mountain and
Cham museum in Danang. Take some stops on the way to
see the spectacular view on the top of “Hai Van
Pass” and the legend beach of Lang Co.
Afternoon, sightseeing in Hue to the Ancient
Imperial Citadel, a complex of palaces and temples
built by the Nguyen from early 19th Century for
which Hue was recognized by UNESCO as a World
Cultural Heritage. Then, visit Dong Ba, the local
market in Hue, and experience the amazing sights,
sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have
the opportunity to interact with the local sellers.
Late in the afternoon, enjoy a leisure boat-ride
along the scenic Perfume River to visit Thien Mu
pagoda. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue -
Hanoi (B)
After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to
Hue’s countryside, through scenic villages and green
rice fields to reach the Emperor Ming Mang’s tomb.
It is one of the most beautiful of all Emperors
tombs, in a complex of pavilions, temple, courtyards
and lakes.
Transfer to the airport
for the mid day flight to Hanoi (Flight VN245
@11.00-12.10). After one hour flight you
will land at Noi Bai airport in the Hanoi Capital of
Vietnam. Pick up and transfer to your hotel in the
city center. In the afternoon we would like to
present you Hanoi locals’ daily life with one hour
trishaw (cyclo) ride around Hanoi Old streets, Hoan
Kiem lake, stop at Ngoc Son temple and you then
attending a Water Puppets show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi –
Halong Bay (B/L/D)

8.30AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart
for Halong Bay - the World Heritage Site on a
comfortable 3 and a half hour drive passing the nice
countryside of the Red River Delta. As scheduled,
there will be a short stop in the mid way to relax.
On the way, you may want to have some more stops for
taking photo of the local daily life on the
rice-fields, etc...
- 12:00 PM: Board Halong Junk. Lunch is served with
a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to
enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape.
- You will see Dog Rock, Incense Burner Rock, as
well as Fighting Cock Rock before heading to Sung
Sot Cave (Cave of Surprises).
- Later we stop at a floating house owned by
fishermen before kayaking to Luon Cave to
enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay.
- After returning to the boat a fresh fruit platter
will be served, and we will anchor in a safe and
scenic location for swimming and our overnight stay.
- Dinner is served onboard and then you have free
time to listen to music, join in Karaoke singing or
relax under the stars.
Day 8: Halong – Hanoi
(B/L)

7.30AM: Breakfast will be served on the boat, before
cruising to another part of Halong Bay where you
will view more of the bays spectacular limestone
scenery, such as Drum Cave, Man's Head Islet, Turtle
Islet and Fair-man's Cave.
- The junk then heads to Van Gia fishing village-
one of the oldest and largest floating villages in
Halong Bay.
- You will have the opportunity to understand more
about the fishermen's daily life, before cruising to
a beautiful, secluded spot to swim.
- 11.30 AM: The boat returns to the dock for lunch
in an A/C restaurant before returning to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi at around 4PM; you may want to catch
up on more sightseeing or just relaxing in your
hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Departure (B)
Morning visit the most historical and cultural
highlights of Hanoi. The visit includes:
- Ho Chi Minh’s (HCM) Mausoleum and Presidential
Palace
- HCM’s Stilt House
- One Pillar Pagoda

Temple of Literature, built in 11th Century and the
country’s first University
- Hoa Lo prison which is also known as the “Hanoi
Hilton”
Afternoon, free until the transfer time to the
airport for the departure flight.
